FCRTA provides both regular fixed route services, which follow designated routes and schedules, as well as reservation-based, demand responsive service that offers curb-to-curb transportation. Services provided and hours of operation may vary by community.
For more information on most intra-city and inter-city routes, call 1-855-612-5184.
Fixed Route Services
Fixed route buses follow a designated route and schedule, allowing riders to easily and conveniently get around town and between cities. Riders can access fixed route maps and schedules below to determine the closest bus stop, appropriate routes and transfers, and pick-up/drop-off times.
For a downloadable schedule of your community’s transit provider, click here.
Riders can also call the local phone number for transit provider in their area for information on fixed routes, maps, and schedules. Service between rural cities and the Fresno-Clovis Metropolitan Area is provided on a scheduled, fixed route basis. In recent years, the intercity and regional common carrier services of Greyhound and Orange Belt Stages have been reduced or eliminated to a limited number of rural cities. Individual transit services depend on sufficient ridership to ensure continuation. All operations are subject to modifications, as warranted. The level of service, fares, and hours of operation may vary by city. Contact your community’s transit provider to determine possible changes.
Demand Responsive Services
With reservation-based, demand responsive services, riders call their local transit provider, identify their location, desired destination and departure time. A driver is then dispatched to pick-up and transports the patron. Demand responsive service is limited to within the rural transit service area during regular service hours.
When making an appointment in the Fresno-Clovis Metropolitan Area, please be aware that the intercity transport vehicle will only be in town for a limited time period. Therefore, you should explain to receptionists that you will be “using public transit services” that are in town for a limited time period to ensure that reasonable accommodations may be extended to you and that you are seen in a timely manner.

One-way fares for service within a community range from 35 cents for the elderly and children accompanied by an adult, to 75 cents for the general public. Senior citizens and disabled individuals ride for free on intra-city buses.
Fares for intercity service are generally half the price of fares granted to common carriers by the California Public Utilities Commission. They range from 75 cents to $6.00 per one-way trip, depending on distance traveled. Fares may be subject to change.
